Despite the show having great success, a growing viewership (2.92 Milion in 2010 vs. 0.90 in 2007, src Wikipedia) and still being a golden globe contender (see link), I am worried about the future of Mad Men.
As a show built on the culture of ad agencies in the 60’s, they are running out of time. With the decade more than half over (season 4 ends in October 1965), I am certain Mad Men can’t live much past the 60’s.
This is my nervous take on it at least. I just don’t think I can take losing another excellent ad show :(
